Head west to the Celestún Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO-protected wetland famed for its pink flamingos, mangroves, and spring-fed lagoons. Return to Mérida for a guided city tour of its historic center, founded in 1542 atop the ancient Maya city of T’ho.
